We All Have Secrets to Share with Friends
Secrets always have the tendency of getting leaked. Many messaging applications are taking advantage of the word "secret" as the word is mind medley and works on the consumer well.
Secrecy has been a part of human life since the Stone Age. In our modern age, we use secret chat to share undisclosed information with an individual. Messaging apps make this undisclosed information to disappear from app’s chat log.  Some of the messaging apps claim that they use their own encrypted format for the secret chat feature. This feature is designed to be a one-on-one chat where all messages sent back and forth are encrypted with a key. Theoretically, no third party can unencrypt those messages until they can access or hack into any one of the chat participant’s device. The secret messages are saved in text format as a cache database into the user’s device. Anyone with access to the user's device can access the chat database from the phone’s memory.
Sometimes the deleted messages remain into the app memory even after deletion from the interface. These messages may not show in the interface or history, but they still remain into cached files. Most apps use end to end encryption, it provides a high level of security and it is nearly impossible to access user data.
Yeah! Can you?
Still, we would find advises to keep ourselves secured in the mobile network. These advises may include - not using unsecured Wi-Fi networks, not disclosing sensitive information, to keep changing our passwords periodically and have comprehensive security software installed in the device.
In app stores, users can find many apps having an option for "Secret Group Chat". Users will be capable of chatting one-on-one or with a group and it will be encrypted end to end. The message content will be more secured behind an additional layer of encryption before the message is sent. This ensures that the message is read only by the recipient it was sent for. As the group has advanced security settings, the group is limited to 50 users per chat room and services like polling and scheduling are not yet available. The messages in the group will be deleted from the interface but will exist in users' smartphones.
